JRC study on Smart Grid projects in Europe

Following a request from DG ENER, the JRC Smart Electricity Systems Action carried out an independent assessment of smart grid projects throughout Europe. It launched a survey to collect smart grid experiences in Europe and support analysis on trends and developments in Smart Grids implementation.

Therefore JRC study on Smart Grid projects in Europe includes two aspects:

1 - Full JRC Report

2 - Maps of Smart Grid projects: Summary information from all the collected projects is now available online via this new mapping tool. This represents the first comprehensive inventory of Smart Grid projects in Europe.
